• Now in Cloncurry. Attempted to book in to our 2 rooms @ the Bates Motel, but found the rooms more than triple-booked. #

• Great day today driving dome rough roads from Longreach to Winton. Beautiful country this afternoon took the black-top thru to Cloncurry #
• Stopped off along the way at the Blue Heeler pub at Kynuna then then Walkabout Creek pub #
• Another spectacular sunset,with the sun a huge golden orange ball hanging above the horizon for some time #

• The sunsets have been spectacular, with the colours washed across the vast expanse of land. #
• Dust has gotten in everywhere, and everything we touch is dusty, including my face! #

• Shoes started off silver & white & now are reddish, with a big splodge of oil on my left foot which apparently dropped while driving. #

• Live the wide open spaces. And it's fun waving to people camped by the side of the road watching us drive thru. #
• During lunch at the school we saw a girl with Rhett's disease (sp?) a special bike specially built fir her. Not a dry eye in the place. #

• Had a great lunch at St George. They really put on some lovely food for us, including a yummy chicken curry, mini dampers #
• & some home-made cake slices. Had fun handing out giveaways to the kids this morning at breakfast & at lunch. #
• The kids loved Super Hubert's show. A gear day & all is going well. Travelling with a lovely bunch of companions. #
