Bucketty Day Out 2011
On Sunday, July 17, a number of Bashers are headed out on a day out to St Albans, NSW, then on to Bucketty. It was a good chance to test out the car after all of the work carried out on it in preparation for the Bash, and for new Bashers to get to know the cars.
Sallymae, from the 3 Little Pigs Bash car organized the day. She does a great job with organizing things like that!
We met some Central Coast cars at Wisemans Ferry, then drove around to St Albans, stopping off at the historic cemetery for coffee, prepared by the K9 crew. Then on to St Albans pub for a leisurely lunch, then on up to Bucketty and back. Lots of driving on dirt and muddy roads, with the occasional cattle grid.

Our progress was mapped using a SPOT Messenger, which attempts to connect to a satellite every 10 minutes, to notify of location. Each of those dots on the map show a successful signal to a satellite.
