Breakfast
Today we have breakfast at the St Joseph’s Catholic School in Mount Isa. Lunch will be a packed lunch, also provided by St Joseph’s School.
Barkly Homestead
The Barkly Homestead is a homestead on the grasslands of the Barkly Downs serving people passing through on the Barkly Highway.
Austral Downs
The Austral Downs station has about 17,000 cattle, predominantly Santa Gertrudis.
Tennant Creek
Tennant Creek is 500km north of Alice Springs, and 1,000km south of Darwin, right in the middle of the Northern Territory. The area is known for the cattle industry, and mining. See the Barkly Tourism site for photos.
