Derby
Derby is on the coast – we’ll be glad to see the sea after the long days inland! Derby has the highest tides in Australia, with the peak differential between low and high tide reaching 11.8 metres. Derby is half surrounded by tidal marsh at the foot of King Sound. The boab tree is a major feature of Derby.
